Fate Of The Jedi'Cairhien, A Cairhien,' in the Star Wars galaxy, is where the world ends. In this parallel universe, the end of the universe is at hand, but Yoda, a Jedi Master from the New Jedi Order, is unable to stop it. He tells Luke Skywalker of his beliefs and that they should try and find a way to stop the end.He tells Luke that if he feels himself slipping into the darkness and his destiny as a Jedi is in danger, he must stay with the light. However, Luke cannot understand and fails to make a decision for himself. It is then that he meets a mysterious stranger, as a mysterious voice warns him not to join the Dark Side of the Force, which is the path towards destruction.The astro guard is quick to rush to the scene and captures a bandit, but before they can take him to the Jedi Temple, Yoda appears, comforting the confused Luke. He explains that he is in fact a commoner, who was present for the end of the universe and that there is only one choice that he has made.Yoda tells L uke that he has chosen the path of the dark side, but that this is a choice he cannot take back. Luke realizes that he must be on the light side if he wants to prevent the end of the universe. He turns to Yoda and asks if there is any other way, to which Yoda simply responds that he has made the decision for him.Yoda tells Luke that he must accept the fact that his destiny is bound up with the future and that the one thing he has gained from the experience is an insight into the complexity of time and destiny. He tells Luke that the alternative of the light is the only one that he can decide. He then disappears and leaves Luke with a new understanding of the universe, the past and the present. Back in the Old Republic, the newly risen Emperor Palpatine becomes aware of the change that Yoda has caused to the universe, as well as the implications of what he perceives as the dark side of the Force. He decides to take decisive action, in order to prevent the end of the universe. His fir st act is to go to Coruscant and confront Darth Vader, the most powerful dark force wielder in the universe.However, Yoda intervenes, having sensed the danger. He tells Palpatine to allow Yoda to speak with Vader, so that he may stop the end of the universe. However, a dangerous plot is put into place by Vader, who forces Yoda to travel back in time, in order to prevent the events from happening. This results in the death of Luke, thus creating the start of the prequel trilogy.
